How To Pick The Perfect Smartphone

There are so many different smartphone options out there. And It can make it difficult to choose which route to go sometimes. New or used, apple or android, big or small. Keep reading for a comprehensive guide on how to find your perfect smartphone.

Cost – Battery life – Size – Storage – OS Type

Above I’ve listed some of the most common things to look for when you’re thinking about getting a new phone. Bellow I’m going to break everything down by price brackets so that you have a good sense of which phone is best for you

$100 and under

IOS – The best ios phone you’ll be able to get currently is an iPhone 6, which is still a great phone! An iPhone SE would also be a great option if you want something a little smaller

Android – There are plenty of androids for around $100 but I recommend you play it safe with either the S6, S5, Note 4, maybe even a Note 5. These are tride and true phones that have been used by many consumers and are a safe bet

$100 – $250

IOS – In this price range, you'll be able to get a 6s plus or even an iPhone 7. Just remember that the iPhone 7 no longer has a headphone jack...

Android – Once you get over $100 the field really opens up if you want an android. We recommend one of the following: Moto G5 Plus, Huawei Mate SE, Note 5, or any S7 variant.

$250 – $500

IOS – You can either go with a more expensive model of the iPhone 7 like the 7 Plus with 128gb or you could get a cheaper base model iPhone 8 64gb.

Android – At the $250-$500 mark, you're going to be able to get full flagship models. From least to most expensive: Moto G6, Moto X4, LG G6, Moto Z3 Play, and the OnePlus 6. Of course, you could also go with a newer model used/refurbished galaxy Note or S series.

$500 And Above

IOS – If you're looking for an iPhone in this price range just go with the best model you can get for your money. 7, 8, X, and XR are all great options for this price range.

Android – At this point, it really just boils down to preference. You can go with any new Samsung model like the Note 9, or google pixel, OnePlus or LG. All of these phones are at the top of their class and will perform great.
